PINE BLUFF, AR – The Quapaw Nation, owners and operators of Saracen Casino Resort in Pine Bluff, AR, announced the final placement of the Saracen hotel top beam. This marks a milestone in the hotel’s construction, set to be complete by fall of 2025.
The addition of a 14-story hotel and best-in-class event center to the Saracen footprint pushes the Quapaw Nation’s total investment in Arkansas to over half a billion dollars. This venture adds 400,000 sq. ft. – including a 320-room, high-end hotel and 1,600-seat event center – to the existing casino.
“Two hundred years ago, our people ceded this land to the federal government,” said Wena Supernaw, Chair of the Quapaw Nation’s Business Committee. “Today, the Quapaw people are back, building and blossoming in Arkansas.”
Saracen opened in October 2020 and features 1,700 slot machines, 40 table games, the state’s leading sportsbook (BetSaracen), and Arkansas’ only poker room. In addition, Saracen features the award-winning Red Oak Steakhouse, named Arkansas’ best restaurant for the past four years.
